“ 10/10 ORDER ITS FANTASTIC!!!!! This place is AMAZING!! The BEST butter chicken I’ve had - and they are SO accommodating!! As an adult with an eating disorder (ARFID) - they will do ANYTHING they can to make your food how you like it. I usually order from door dash, which is more expensive- but I’ve also picked it up straight from there. BUT!!! But-but!!! It doesn’t matter if you order for pickup OR takeout like DoorDash - When you get your food from tandoor? It will be STEAMING!! So, SO hot and delicious. As a person who ONLY eats their food if it is PIPING hot- sometimes even AFTER delivery (25 min travel to east hampton with traffic from Middletown- and there’s ALWAYS traffic since Friday is my special butter chicken day!) or the drive home- I STILL have to blow on my food!! I don’t know what they do to keep their dishes SO nice and hot- but it WORKS! I even asked them to hold the rice and give me extra sauce in my butter chicken (I eat it like f*ing tomato soup it’s so good!!!) and they followed my exact order- for a DOORDASH order!! I tandoor!!! I recommend everyone try it. ”

The chai is the best i’ve ever had i ordered 2 and i had the mutter paneer which i ordered medium and it came perfect with a depth of flavors that made me want to finish the whole dish. They have great portions and service , would 100% be enjoying another dinner here in the near future!!!! ”

“ One word: AMAZING!! We ordered takeout from Tandoor a few days ago and my family is still raving about how good the food was! We were greeted with incredible customer service over the phone as we asked many questions about the menu. We also learned that the restaurant is under new ownership and 100% Halal. We ordered multiple dishes from the Indo-Chinese menu and were absolutely blown away by the incredible taste. Everything was seasoned to perfection and not oily at all! The portion sizes were larger than we expected which was a huge delight! We were savoring every bite as we were engulfed in a world of flavor which was true and authentic to the South Asian taste palette. We also noticed the nice serene ambience of the restaurant itself when we went to go pick up the food; great spot for date night or a meal with the family! All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great South Asian cuisine in central Connecticut! We cannot wait to come back to Tandoor for more! ”
